This simulator is configured based on a number of factors and assumptions including candidate viability, candidate visibility, name recognition, ballot designations, incumbency, elected/appointment status, past election results, partisan realities and other modeling considerations.
This is a scenario simulator based solely on a user-supplied matrix and modeled vote ranges. It is not a poll, official forecast, endorsement, or statement of actual election results. Because the supplied position columns are not mutually exclusive probability distributions, the simulator treats each candidate’s row as relative placement weights and resolves each run into one complete ranking. Vote-range targets may be exceeded when necessary to produce a coherent finishing order totaling 343,000 votes.
